In the city of Kosiv, our team successfully installed a 100 kW rooftop solar power plant for an industrial facility. The main goal of this project was to reduce electricity costs and ensure stable, uninterrupted operation of the production equipment, thereby minimizing dependence on the electrical grid. The system was designed to facilitate continuous daytime operations while fully complying with grid requirements.

Solution Delivered

  • Installation of a 100 kW rooftop solar power plant equipped with modern grid-tied inverters
  • Turnkey EPC delivery: system design, installation, configuration, and grid connection
  • Optimised panel layout to maximise solar generation based on roof geometry and orientation
  • Integration of online generation monitoring
  • Full DC and AC protection systems
  • Configuration of zero-export mode, preventing any power feed-in to the grid

Results

  • The facility receives stable daytime power supply without voltage drops
  • Up to 70% reduction in electricity costs through on-site solar generation
  • Production processes operate independently of grid instability
  • The system is BESS-ready, allowing future integration of battery storage if required

Business Impact & Client Benefits

  • Significant reduction in operating energy costs
  • Stable and predictable power supply for industrial processes
  • Fast investment payback, estimated at 3-4 years
  • Fully automated operation with minimal human intervention
  • Future-ready system architecture supporting energy storage expansion
