We installed a 30 kW hybrid solar power plant for a private household. 

The main objectives of this project were to allow the household to participate in a feed-in tariff scheme, reduce reliance on grid electricity through on-site generation, and prepare the system for backup power during grid outages. 

The system was designed to balance self-consumption with energy export, ensuring both cost savings and a predictable income from solar generation.

Results

  • Estimated investment payback period is approximately 5 years, based on year-round operation under the applicable feed-in tariff
  • During summer months, expected monthly income from exported electricity can exceed the equivalent of EUR 450, accelerating return on investment
